“STRYI” Radio-Electronic Countermeasure Station

₴1,140,000.00

“STRYI” Radio-Electronic Countermeasure Station is a remotely operated, long-range EW system designed to disrupt the radio-control and analogue video links of FPV drones and other UAVs across the 300–6000 MHz frequency range.

Two independent 100 W RF channels provide up to 200 W of combined output power, while directional antennas and remote aiming enable effective countermeasures at distances of up to 30 km under suitable conditions.

The system is operated through a secure web interface, allowing it to be deployed away from personnel and controlled remotely.

“STRYI” Radio-Electronic Countermeasure Station is a long-range electronic warfare system designed to disrupt the radio-control and analogue video links used by FPV drones and other UAVs.

The system covers the 300–6000 MHz frequency range through two independent RF channels: 300–2500 MHz and 2000–6000 MHz. Each channel provides 100 W of RF output power and can operate independently or simultaneously, delivering up to 200 W of combined output power.

Depending on terrain, target altitude, antenna orientation and radio line-of-sight conditions, the effective jamming range can reach up to 30 km.

“STRYI” is designed for remote operation. A secure web interface provides control over the RF system, motorised directional platform and integrated camera, allowing the station to be positioned away from the operator and reducing the need for personnel to remain near the equipment.

The system can operate independently or as part of a wider detect-and-counter configuration, including integration with passive UAV detection systems such as the “BORYSLAV” Wideband Analogue Video Detector.

Applications

“STRYI” is designed for a range of counter-UAV missions, including:

  • Protection of fixed military positions from FPV drones
  • Coverage of temporary and forward operating positions
  • Protection of logistics and supply routes
  • Support during unit rotations
  • Protection of critical infrastructure and other high-value sites
  • Long-range counter-UAV coverage from remotely operated positions
  • Integration with passive UAV detection systems
  • Deployment as part of a wider electronic warfare architecture

Long-Range Remote Counter-UAV Capability

“STRYI” was developed in response to the increasing operating range of FPV drones and the need for counter-UAV systems that can be operated from a safer distance.

With an effective jamming range of up to 30 km under suitable conditions, the station can be positioned farther from the expected threat area while remaining remotely accessible to the operator.

The motorised directional platform enables the antennas to be aimed towards a specific threat sector, concentrating the system’s RF output where it is required.

Two Independent RF Channels

The two RF channels operate independently across 300–2500 MHz and 2000–6000 MHz.

This architecture allows operators to address different parts of the spectrum simultaneously and adapt the system to the frequencies being used by detected UAV links.

Each channel provides 100 W of RF output, with up to 180 MHz of simultaneous jamming bandwidth.

Together, the two channels can counter up to eight selected channels simultaneously.

Detect and Counter

“STRYI” can be used together with the “BORYSLAV” Wideband Analogue Video Detector to create a combined detection and countermeasure workflow.

“BORYSLAV” passively identifies active analogue FPV video links and their operating frequencies. This information can then be used to configure and direct “STRYI” towards the detected threat.

This creates a straightforward operational sequence:

Detect → Identify → Assess → Counter

Field Experience

During a unit rotation in the Kharkiv sector, a “BORYSLAV” detector identified a hostile FPV drone transmitting on 3.3 GHz.

After assessing its likely flight path, the operator activated the “STRYI” countermeasure system. The UAV link was successfully disrupted, allowing the rotation to be completed without losses.
