“BORYSLAV” Wideband Analogue Video Detector is a passive system designed to detect and analyse analogue video transmissions used by UAVs and FPV drones across the 700–6000 MHz frequency range.
The system continuously scans the RF spectrum and displays detected analogue video feeds in real time through a secure web interface. Operators can monitor up to 24 video channels simultaneously on a single screen, enabling them to identify and assess multiple active FPV video links from one interface.
Because “BORYSLAV” operates passively, it does not transmit RF signals during detection, reducing the risk of revealing the system’s position.
The detector can be deployed as a standalone system or integrated into a wider electronic warfare (EW) setup. PoE connectivity simplifies installation and allows the detector to be positioned away from the operator with minimal cabling.

Applications
“BORYSLAV” is designed for:
- Detection of UAVs using analogue FPV video links
- Monitoring RF activity in the area of operations
- Identification of frequencies used by hostile UAV video transmitters
- Integration with electronic warfare systems as a detection component
- Protection of fixed positions and critical sites
- Remote monitoring of deployed positions
Passive Operation
“BORYSLAV” operates without transmitting RF signals during detection. This reduces its electromagnetic signature and allows the system to monitor active analogue video links without actively revealing its position.
With remote access and autonomous operation, the detector can be deployed away from the operator and does not require continuous on-site supervision.
Field Experience
During a rotation in the Kharkiv sector, a “BORYSLAV” detector identified a hostile FPV drone transmitting on 3.3 GHz. After assessing the likely flight path, the operator deployed the “STRYI” electronic countermeasure system. The drone was successfully jammed, allowing the rotation to be completed without losses.
Key Advantages
- Passive detection with no RF transmission during operation
- Up to 24 video channels monitored simultaneously
- Detection range of up to 30 km under specified conditions
- Remote operation through a secure web interface
- Low power consumption and battery-powered operation
- Fast deployment with PoE and minimal cabling
- Compact design suitable for mast installation
- Designed for operation in demanding field conditions
- Can operate independently or as part of an integrated EW setup
Warranty & Procurement
The product is covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of commissioning.
“BORYSLAV” has been officially codified and field-tested under combat conditions.
The system is available through Brave1 Market and DOT-Chain Defence, including procurement through the e-points programme.
